The reason it has taken me so long to catch up on the blog is because I can't seem to get the red eye fixed on all of the pictures. It will let me correct some, but not all of them. So I'm sorry about the red eye in some of the pictures. It also hasn't been letting me rotate the pictures, so I don't know what the deal is. But anyway, I am finally caught up now with my pictures! I just took some random pictures of the kids - Elizabeth with chocolate all over her clothes and face, Devon in his mismatched Spongebob/Buzz Lightyear pajamas, the kids munching on cookies, and Devon with his cousin, Dax.
I love the picture of the kids sitting on Lizzy's princess couch. She absolutely loves sitting and laying on it. Unfortunately, Devon does too, so that gets to be a problem at times. We decided that Devon may need a Cars or Toy Story couch for his birthday this year.
Lizzy loves playing with the radio in the truck. That's pretty much the only reason she ever wants to get in it. I'm sure she'll love it when she's old enough to drive it. Of course then the kids will probably be fighting over it all the time!
Lizzy didn't unwrap too many of her presents, so Devon helped her for the most part. She actually unwrapped her birthday presents better than her Christmas gifts, but she was probably distracted by all of the new toys.
Devon got so excited on Christmas morning that he peed while attempting to get into his truck! That's why he has his clothes on in this picture, instead of pajamas.
Devon loves this toy. He kept asking for it when we would see it at Toys R Us.
Here is what our living room looked like Christmas morning before the kids tore into their gifts!
Devon got to see Santa Claus twice this year. We had a ward Christmas party where Devon received a little white stocking with a poem in it, along with a candy cane. He told Santa both times that he wanted a truck, which he got! We went to the library to meet Santa two days before Christmas, and Mrs. Claus was even there. Elizabeth ended up going and sitting with the other kids, too, while they were singing Christmas songs. The librarians handed out bells for the kids to jingle while they sang. Devon didn't want to give his back! You can see Devon's back in the two library pictures, but Lizzy is turned around. In the other picture, the kids are munching on some of those Pillsbury holiday sugar cookies. They both fell in love with them, so we made them a few times.
We celebrated Emily's birthday at my grandma's house. She got some zebra print stuff to put in her newly finished bedroom, clothes, and books and movies. We had some yummy chocolate cake and pizza for lunch. Devon had fun helping Emily blow out her candles!
