Christmas Picture

We went over to Mom's today to take a Christmas picture with her. They recently got a new kitten, which Emily is holding. Emily named him Edward, after the vampire on Twilight. She loved the book and movie so much that she thought it fitting to name her cat after one of the characters. I took the last picture of Devon today in his little jacket, hat, and mittens because I think he looks so cute in them!

Thanksgiving Dinner

I took pictures of each family over Thanksgiving. We had a very nice meal - turkey, mashed potatoes, frog eye salad, jello salad, sweet potatoes, etc. Very yummy!

Thanksgiving in Utah

Here are some more pictures taken at Crystal's house. Tucker is the one jumping on the trampoline. I hadn't jumped on a trampoline in so long, so it was fun to jump again. Dax, Kylie and Jared's son, is in the top picture. He is about 5 1/2 months old now. Titan, Crystal and Yates's son, is in the second picture. He is 6 months old.

We went to Hurricane, UT to spend Thanksgiving with Bryce's side of the family. We stayed at Crystal's house for about a week. It was so nice to just relax and visit. These pictures were taken when we all went to the park. Tucker is 6 and McKinlee just turned 3 today. Devon is now about 14 1/2 months. We had fun on the slides and swings, and Tucker and McKinlee raced Crystal. The weather was really nice for most of the week. Most days we didn't even have to wear coats. As you can see, I didn't wear mine at the park.

Happy Halloween!

Well, here's Devon in his basketball outfit for Halloween! He did pretty good with keeping the headband on, which surprised me. We already had most of the outfit, so we just got him the headband and armbands and we were good to go. He used Mom's Longaberger Halloween bag to hold candy. You can see his Utah Jazz basketball in one of the pictures. We had to take that with us to complete the outfit, of course. I took the close up picture of Devon to show his little hair sticking up. I gelled it so that he would like a real basketball man! Bryce had to work on Halloween, but I took Devon to Mom's apartment trick-or-treating, and then we went to the trunk or treat that was held in the parking lot of the Wagon Wheel complex. We then went up to the Relief Society president's apartment for caramel apples, hot chocolate, and candy. Devon liked biting pieces of the apple (not the caramel part, of course). After that, Mom and Emily came over to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas with me. Mom just loves that movie! LOL! (Just kidding, Mom!) That pretty much wrapped up our Halloween night.

13 Months Old

Hey everyone! Here are just some miscellaneous pictures of Devon's cute smile! He is 13 months old now, has five teeth, and he is walking really well. He still crawls some, but he sure likes to walk. It is cute that he is old enough now to kind of let me know what he wants. He loves these Lil' Toddler snacks called Yogurt Melts, and if he sees the package of them in his diaper bag he will bring them to me to feed to him. I read stories to him everyday, and sometimes he'll hand me another book as if he wants me to read more. It's so fun being a mom! It's funny to see how he'll mimick what I'm doing sometimes. One day I was cleaning a spot off the carpet and Devon came up next to me and started rubbing his hand real fast on the carpet like I was doing with the rag. Mommy's little helper! In the pictures, Devon is in some of his new clothes that he got for his birthday. My friend, Summer got him the brown fleece hoodie and pants and the little doggie pajamas. Mom got him the Elmo shirt. Bryce and I bought him the baseball outfit. I was surprised that Bryce liked it since he doesn't care for baseball. I don't either, but I still thought the outfit was cute! In the top picture Devon is sucking on my BYU-Idaho water bottle.

Pictures of the Cutie

Here are just some miscellaneous pictures of the little boy. He is wearing a shirt he got for his birthday from Dad and Karen in the top picture. He's always opening the cabinets in the bathroom and pulling stuff out, which he is in the process of doing in the top picture. He is wearing his Spongebob pajamas in the second and last pictures, which is one of the gifts that Emily bought him for his birthday. Daddy is helping him get ready for church in the middle picture. In the bottom picture, Devon is not too happy. The only reason we took it was because it was so funny that Devon wouldn't hold onto his sippy cup without holding his new ball. My grandma, Cathy, sent us some money for Devon's birthday, so we bought him three Utah Jazz balls from Fanzz. Devon loves them! He got upset when we tried to take the ball from him so he could drink his milk, so he ended up sleeping with his new ball!
