Unwrapping presents

Here are several pictures of Lizzy opening her birthday gifts.

Lizzy's 2nd birthday party!

We had Lizzy's birthday party on November 12. She will actually turn 2 on the 14th. She did really well unwrapping her presents and she loved her cake and ice cream. She got some new clothes, movies, a Cinderella play dress with light up Cinderella shoes, a princess bubble wand, a cash register, shoes, stuffed animals, a Clifford book, a baby stroller with accessories, a hair and makeup accessory play kit, and I have a Jessie doll from Toy Story that we will give her tomorrow on her actual birthday. We got an e-mail for Lizzy to get a free kids' meal at Red Robin, so we will be eating there on her birthday. It was snowing pretty bad in Driggs, St. Anthony, and Rexburg yesterday, so at first we worried that some people wouldn't be able to make it to the party. Thankfully the snow cleared up right before the party. We didn't get much snow in Idaho Falls, so that was nice.

Oakley's Baby Blessing

We went down to Hurricane so that we could be there for Oakley's baby blessing. While we were there, Crystal gave Lizzy her birthday present. She had made two matching dresses, one for Lizzy and one for McKinlee. It was so cute seeing them wearing the dresses together. Kathy made Oakley's beautiful blessing dress. She looks darling in it!

Trip to Hurricane

We went down to Hurricane to Bryce's sister, Crystal's, house during the first weekend of November. The kids were able to play with their cousins, and Bryce's grandma was there, too. Here are some pictures with her and some of her great grandchildren. There's also a picture of Crystal and her family.

Spongebob and a Fairy Princess!

Bryce likes to carve pumpkins for Halloween, and he usually chooses to carve some kind of Jazz symbol. (I'm sure that everyone is shocked about that!) He always does a really good job, so here's one of them with a little light that blinks inside of it.

When the kids got home after trick-or-treating, they started digging into their baskets for candy. (Bryce and I ate some, too.) Our excuse was that the kids got so much candy that it would start to go bad before they ate it all if we didn't help them. LOL!

Happy Halloween!

The kids got to go trick or treating 3 different times. On Friday, the 28th, they went to Melaleuca, where Bryce works, to collect candy. Melaleuca's home office always decorates the place really neat with different themes in different rooms. The employees dress up and they have a trail set up for the kids to follow. Then on Saturday, the kids went to a trunk or treat at church, and then they finally went door to door in our neighborhood on Monday. I told Devon that we could only go to houses that had their outside lights on, so he would scope out those houses pretty quickly. He would shout, "They have their lights on!" and go running off, leaving Lizzy and me in the dust. Bryce had to work late on Halloween, so that was a bummer. After we got home, the kids had fun handing out candy to other trick-or-treaters. They kept trying to give the kids more and more candy as they left, so I had to monitor that a little bit, or else we would have run out of candy really fast!

Fun in the Tree!

Devon scared me to death climbing in this tree. He has never climbed a tree before, so I was pretty nervous. Titan is a little monkey and does just fine, but Devon got a little wobbly at times. He would do well climbing up it, but he struggled sometimes with trying to get down. He improved, but I told him he could only climb it if I was right there with him in case he needed help getting down.

Hurricane, UT

We were in Hurricane visiting family for 10 days. The kids had fun playing with their cousins. There were fights and kids getting upset over toys, but they still had a good time all in all. Titan is with Devon in the tree, and then there's also pictures of Lizzy and baby Oakley. I had a good time holding that sweet little baby. I always forget how small babies are when they are just a few weeks old. They sure don't stay that way for long! It rained a couple of days that we were there, but the weather was definitely better there than it was in Idaho. We missed out on the first snow. Devon was disappointed, but I was okay with it!

Birthday Party/Trip to Hurricane

Kathy made Devon's birthday cake. Because of Devon's allergies, Kathy had to use a cake mix that didn't have wheat in it and she also had to use egg replacers. The cake still tasted great, and I couldn't tell any difference. I can't believe my little boy is 4 years old! In the picture where he's opening a gift, it is a Spongebob pillow pet that my grandma got for him. It is so cute and Devon loves it.

Elizabeth got into my suitcase and was trying to buckle herself into it when I was getting ready to pack. The kids and I went with Kathy down to Hurricane, UT to visit Bryce's sister, Crystal, and her family. Crystal just had a baby girl a few weeks ago. Her daughter, McKinlee, is holding baby Oakley in a picture.

Devon's Birthday Party

Devon was really funny while he was opening presents. We video taped it, so I will enjoy watching it again sometime. He was especially excited about some of the presents and would holler out the name of whatever the gift was. The funniest was when he opened a present and saw the purple Ramone car from the Cars movie and he yelled, "Ramoooooooone!" After he finished opening a present, he would immediately say, "Ok, next present!" He got some movies, a Spongebob Halloween costume, cars, tools, clothes, etc.

The Fair/Devon's birthday

The kids didn't seem to be too enthused about this ride.
