Funny Stories

The other day, Bryce turned off Devon's Spongebob movie so that he could watch football. Devon wasn't happy about that, although he had watched Spongebob for most of the day. So the next day, Devon told Bryce that he wanted him to come watch Spongebob with him. Even though Bryce hates Spongebob, he agreed to watch it. Then Devon takes the remotes and tells Bryce, "No football, no basketball, and no Xbox, Bryce." I said, "He sure does know you pretty well, Bryce!" Oh, kids say the darnedest things! LOL!

We have been working on potty training Devon, something I should have worked harder on before now, but what can ya do? He had been showing some good improvement until today for some reason. But we'll keep working on it. So this wasn't funny at the time, but when I told my mom about it later, it seemed funny after the fact. Devon was playing outside while I watched him. All of a sudden I smelled poop. I asked Devon what he was doing and he said, "Pooping...and peeing!" He must not have realized that he had to pee, too, because I could tell that it startled him that all of a sudden he had pee running down his leg. The look on his face was priceless. I felt sorry for him, but I need him to see that that is not a good feeling to pee or poop your pants. Then he starts walking bowlegged through the garage. Once again I felt bad for him, but...it was kinda funny.

Group Picture

I just put all of these on here, because I kept snapping pictures trying to get the perfect one. I'm not sure I got a perfect one, so here's the best ones that I ended up with.

Fun with the Cousins

I absolutely love this picture. Devon and Titan were hugging goodbye, but we'll see everyone next month for Thanksgiving!
Elizabeth with her Uncle Yates.
Devon was really shy about being on the trampoline at first, but after awhile he started having fun with it. Although I think I liked it better when he didn't want to play on it! LOL!

Craig (Papa) and Elizabeth

Cute Little Lizzy!

I had never taken a picture of Lizzy in the bathtub, and I wanted one for her baby book, so I finally remembered to do it! Lizzy does really well with taking baths, as you can see!
Here she has sweet potatoes all over mouth. That is one baby food that she seems to really like. She's not real big on snacks, other than Cheerios. I usually give her a few after she eats her baby food.

Elizabeth is scared to death of animals, so she must not realize that the dog is right next to her. When she first saw the dog, (Anakin Skywalker is his name) she screamed like an adult woman! It scared me to death. I'm hoping that she will start getting used to animals since Grandma has a little dog named Maisy. Every so often she seems to get used to an animal, but the next thing we know, she's scared again.

Hurricane, UT

Check out the pink bike Devon is riding. LOL!
Jared and Kylie were able to come to Tucker's luncheon, and then they came to Crystal's house for the rest of the day. Here is their son, Dax.
Here's Tucker bouncing on the trampoline in Papa's (Craig's) boots. He kept saying, "Look at me! I'm Papa!"
Devon fell asleep on Kylie one night. He wore himself out playing outside all day!
Titan, Devon, and Dax enjoying some pizza.

Tucker's Baptism

Our nephew, Tucker, got baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on October 9 in Hurricane, UT. We left on Thursday night and stayed at Bryce's aunt and uncle's house in Lehi, UT and then drove the rest of the way to Hurricane the next morning. We stayed until Monday morning.
The kids had a blast playing with their cousins. Devon practically lived in their backyard. The weather down there was perfect. We were still able to wear shorts and it was great! Devon is pictured here on the four wheeler with Titan and McKinlee.

Devon's Idaho Birthday Party

We decided to also have a birthday party for Devon at my grandma's house. We had it on October 3. Mom made a yummy chocolate cake with chocolate icing, and Kevin made 3 delicious pies. We had hamburgers, chips, cottage cheese, and beans for dinner. Yum, yum, and yum!
We couldn't seem to get Devon to smile for us. He kept saying cheese, but didn't add the smile with it. You can't tell by the pictures, but he was way excited about all of the fun presents he got.

Devon's Indiana Birthday Party

Devon got lots of fun toys, clothes, and gift cards for his birthday. In this picture, he is playing with a little toy Buzz Lightyear and some cars.
Devon got this RC car with Woody from Toy Story from my brother.

Here is his awesome cake that Kim Keifer made. She is very talented at making cakes. She actually made our wedding cake for our Salem reception.

Devon's Birthday Party

Rachel King and Andrea Kinney came to Devon's party. We had a fun time talking, laughing, and catching up.
The rest of these pictures are of different people on the hay ride. Not pictured were also my Uncle Alan, Aunt Tammy, and their grandson, Connor.
Along with Rachel and Andrea are Jenne Smith and her daughter, Lilli.

Salem, IN

Dad planned a hay ride for Devon's birthday party. In this picture, we are testing it out a couple of days before the party!
Bryce grew part of a beard while we were in Indiana. I don't like it; I think that Bryce looks better without facial hair, plus it scratches me when he kisses me. What do you all think?
Sorry that these pictures aren't turned the right way. I couldn't get them to turn for some reason. Anyway, these were taken at my Mammaw's house the last day we were in Salem.
Here's my big boy pretending to drive a tractor!

Trip to Indiana

We went to Indiana for a week in September. Bryce, the kids, and I flew out on the 18th, and came back home on the 25th. Emily, Kevin, and my mom flew out on the 17th to help my grandma pack up her U-haul and moved her out to Rexburg, Idaho. It's been so great to have her here!
Devon got this remote control truck for his birthday from my Grandpa Dean and his wife, Mia. Devon LOVES playing with cars and trucks.

Devon had a blast on my dad's four wheeler, tractors, and cub cadet. He kept calling the cub cadet a four wheeler, and the four wheeler a motorcycle! His favorite thing was starting up each vehicle with a key.

This is not an Indiana picture, but I wanted to fit this one in somewhere. Lizzy is enjoying some of her little baby crackers.
This picture was also taken at home. I love her little smile in this picture! She is having fun rummaging through Devon's toy box. Here we are at my dad's house on Sunday, September 19th.
