Lizzy's Pigtails!

It has taken awhile for Lizzy's hair to grow enough to do anything with her hair. The other day I decided to try pigtails, and it worked! She looked so cute. The problem is that Lizzy won't keep anything in her hair for very long, but it was fun while it lasted. She is sitting in the potty in these pictures, watching some TV.

Devon and Lizzy

Lizzy and Devon love sitting on her little princess couch.

A pretty princess!

Here's Devon trying to hit the birdie. (It's way up in the left corner!)

When I am wanting to take a picture of anything else, Devon always wants me to take a picture of him, too. He's really photogenic.

The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ

As I'm sure all of you know, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I receive e-mails from the church that contain Mormon Messages, and I recently got one that had this link to mormon.org. It talks about The Book of Mormon - what it is and how to get a free copy. I read from The Book of Mormon every day and I know that it is true and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I encourage everyone to click on the link and find out more about this wonderful book. If you aren't able to click on the link, then just type it into your internet browser and it will get you there.

A Day at Grammy's

We went to my Grandma's a couple of Saturdays ago and played outside and had some good food and good company. We bought the kids a T-ball set, so they enjoyed playing with that. Grandma had bought some outdoor toys and Mom brought some things, too. There was a badminton net set up and Bryce, Emily and I tossed a football around. It was nice to just play outside and enjoy the weather. It has actually been really hot out here lately.

Here is Mom "beating" Emily with a bat!

This was at my house. I thought it was cute that Lizzy fell asleep on Emily. Emily loved it, too!

This was taken at Porter Park in Rexburg.

Here's another picture at Grandma's. Devon liked playing with the badminton rackets, but he especially liked the birdies.

Misc. Activities

A couple of Saturdays ago, we went to Porter Park in Rexburg. The kids played on the playground and in the splash park. They both are always a little timid at first around water, but after a little while they get really excited to play in it. Bryce and I played a game of HORSE while we were there, which he of course won. Then my mom and I played some tennis while Grandma watched. Bryce, Kevin, and Emily started playing after a little while. Then we went and had lunch at Pizza Pie Cafe. Yum!

My kids love their pajamas and blankies!

Tucker and Ashley were in the 4th of July parade in Victor. Ashley works at US Bank, which is what they were representing.

This slide was full of water, and Devon finally got up the courage to get in.

4th of July Weekend

Bryce's sister, Crystal, took these pictures of us at Bryce's parents' house in front of the Teton Mountains.

This is Glenn Beck. He spoke at the Huntsman Springs activity before the fireworks show.

Devon got his face painted there. He told the girl that he wanted a star ball. He's so funny!

Sleepy little princess!

Chicago/July 4th weekend

I've got a mix of some pictures here. The bean at Millennium Park shows the reflection of the city, which is pretty cool. They were doing "The Taste of Chicago" while we were there, so that's where Devon saw the pig. He went right up to him and wanted a picture with him. Bryce is incredibly happy with his Giordano's pizza. That is his all-time favorite pizza. In the other two pictures, Devon is playing in Driggs at a Huntsman Spring's activity. They had fun things for the kids to do, food, and some shows. This was the Saturday before the 4th of July.

Millennium Park

On the day we went to Chicago, we went to see Buckingham Fountain and we went to Millennium Park. The kids had a blast playing in the water. However, we had a big scare there. I told Devon it was time to leave the water area, and he took off running away from me. He's never gone too far before, so I figured he would come back any second. But no, he just kept running and was heading towards the busy road. I was panicked by that point, so I took off running, barefoot, and made quite a spectacle of myself yelling for Devon. He did end up stopping before he got close to the road. A man saw me running and was standing by Devon to make sure he didn't go any further, so I was grateful for that. Needless to say, Devon got in some trouble over that!
