Devon - Almost 18 Months!

Here are just some random pictures of Devon. I also had to throw in another Utah Jazz picture. We went to another game for Bryce's birthday. We went on Friday, March 6. The Jazz beat the Denver Nuggets, so they finally won a game that we went to! It was a really exciting game to be at. Devon has just recently started to brush his teeth, as you can see in one of the pictures. I help him out at the beginning, but then he's content to take it and do it himself. He was cracking me up in the picture with the chip bag, because he had seen them on the couch and crawled over Bryce's legs to get to them. Smart kid! Devon looked like he was lifting weights in the picture with the trampoline. He just kept moving it up and down. In the other picture, he is enjoying a cheeseburger from McDonald's.

Miscellaneous Pics

Devon has started trying to put on our shoes recently, which is funny, especially when he tries to walk in them. I thought the second picture of him was so funny. I just randomly took it, and it made me laugh. Devon was also trying to put on his hat in the third picture. He kind of got it right at this point. And of course, he has to have his dog. He loves that thing so much. I think it gets more kisses than I do! He really likes getting on my mini trampoline. I usually have to exercise on it while he is asleep because he tries to get on it while I'm jumping.

These pictures show a lot of Devon's favorite things. In the top picture, he is eating a cheeseburger and french fries from McDonald's. French fries are one of his favorite foods. (Mine, too!) He loves his panda bear, although not quite as much as his dog. I just thought it was sweet that he fell asleep with his arm around his panda. Devon also loves climbing onto the couch and our chair now. I think it makes him feel like a big boy. Bryce took the picture of him holding the broom. Anytime I open the closet that has the broom in it, Devon takes off for it. I'd like to find a little mini broom that he could play with.

Happy Birthday to Me!

This was the day before my birthday, but we were in Utah on my actual birthday, so I celebrated with Mom and Emily this day. Mom made me dinner and a chocolate cake with chocolate icing - my favorite! Who says you can have too much chocolate? I got some great gifts from Mom and Emily. Emily gave me the feather pen with purple ink, like how they used to write in the olden days. Mom gave me the red shirt I'm posing with (I forget to flip the picture the right way). Mom also got me Spongebob Season 5 (yes!), a pair of jeans, Twilight earrings, and a mini trampoline. My gift from Bryce was going to the Jazz game, and I also received gifts and cards from other friends and family. Thank you! I was so excited to get the yellow Longaberger pan from my stepmom. Devon broke my other one, and I had been pretty upset about it. They are the best pans, so I was sad to lose one. Now I have another one! Karen and Dad also sent me a customized journal that has my favorite picture of me, Bryce, and Devon. Needless to say, I did pretty well on my birthday. In the top picture, Devon is pulling out all of Mom's movies. Surprise, surprise!

Go Jazz!!!

For my birthday, Bryce and I went to a Utah Jazz game in Salt Lake City. (And yes, I was the one that said we should we go. I'm sure many of you were wondering!) The Jazz lost by 5 to the Cavaliers, but it was still really fun to be there. I got a $10 Jazz shirt, which was cool. We stayed at Bryce's aunt and uncle's for the night, (they also watched Devon for us while we were at the game) and we headed home the next day. I had an enjoyable birthday, to say the least.

Happy Birthday to Mom!

The last two pictures are from Christmas. Mom bought Emily the High School Musical shirt, and I bought Mom the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. The top three pictures are from Mom's birthday on January 4. We had tacos for dinner, German chocolate cake for dessert, and then she opened her presents. I thought Jared might like to see the picture of her holding Move Over Darling since that was from him.

These pictures were taking at Emily's 11th birthday party and the day after. (She had the party the day before her birthday.) I made her a game which consists of naming movies that certain actors and actresses are in, and naming songs by certain singers. She got several other presents as well, some of which are shown. She had some of her friends over to her party, and Devon and I came as well. (Bryce had to work.) Then on Emily's actual birthday, we gave her the rest of her presents and we ate at Fong's, her favorite Chinese restaurant.
