Teton Springs
Bryce and I went to Teton Springs in Victor, ID for a night while Kathy watched the kids. It is a really nice lodge, and we had a great time. We decided that we should try to have at least one night away to ourselves at a hotel at least once a year. Melaleuca, where Bryce works, was doing a discount at this lodge, so we decided to go for it. We played tennis, which I barely beat Bryce at, and then basketball, which of course he beat me at. There was an awesome swimming pool and nice hottubs. We actually never went swimming since it was raining some of the time, which ended up making the water pretty cold. You can barely see the rainbow in the above picture. There was actually a double rainbow, but it didn't show up too well on camera.
There was a balcony on our 3rd floor room, so I got some neat pictures of the scenery. It was fun sitting out on the balcony just talking and looking at the view.

Table Rock and Kids
Elizabeth is now 9 months old and she can pull herself up to a standing position. She will end up walking before I know it!
This picture has a little glare, but I love pictures of water and rocks like this, and I thought it still looked decent enough.
We came across some other hikers who offered to take this picture for us. Pictured from left are: Bryce's aunt Wendy Rogers, me, Bryce, Stephanie Rogers, Eric Rogers, Rachel Rogers, Katie Rogers, Ashley (Bryce's sister), Crystal(his other sister), and our nephew, Tucker.

Hike to Table Rock
We went on a hike about a week and a half ago in Teton Valley. Bryce's grandma, Joyce, decided that she wanted to hike up to Table Rock one last time. I was doing fine until we got to the switchbacks. It was really hard on my short little legs. We didn't end up making it all the way to Table Rock, unfortunately. A group of us broke up from Bryce's grandma's group so that we could try to make it to the top. However, we didn't do that soon enough, so we ended up running out of time to make it all the way to Table Rock. We had to start heading back, or else we would have still been on the hike when it got dark. Bryce and I were super sore afterward. I have never been so sore in my life! It was still fun spending time with family, though, and I got some really great pictures of the beautiful scenery.

Picnic and Playing
Emily, the kids, and I went to a picnic in a park in Idaho Falls sponsored by WIC last week. Devon got his face painted, as you can see. We had a good time there. Devon and Emily played on the playground equipment, we got a free lunch, and I won a gift certificate to T.G.I. Friday's in a drawing. It was a good picnic!
Playing Together
Devon has been wanting to play with Lizzy a lot lately. I have to watch him, though, because he'll get too rough sometimes. One day I wasn't paying enough attention, and I realized that he had picked her up and put her on his bed. Thankfully nothing happened, but he could have hurt her doing that. Then later I see him dragging Elizabeth by the arms because he wanted her to come play in his room! He is always telling me Lizzy wants. He will say, "She wants to come play in my room." Or, "Lizzy wants this toy." I'm glad that he enjoys playing with her. Now that she is crawling around and playing with more things, it has been really fun for Devon to be with her.
I was trying to show the little bit of hair that Lizzy has in this picture. She had been wearing a headband and it pushed her hair straight up. You can see it a little bit.
Bryce and I babysat our friends' kids, Weston and Broc recently. Devon loves playing with them. We got out the little pool that we bought recently for the kids to play in. That was a big hit. Devon will soon get to play with Weston and Broc more often because their family will be moving really close by to us, so we are excited about that!
